The chicken is good here. They should have a spicy version because it was very mild. It was hot and fresh.
A hidden gem. Family owned and run. That Abuela frying yardbird in the kitchen can really throw down. I make special trips to get it but if you find yourself on the far Southeast Side ( think Illiana) then eating here is a no brainer!
Chicken wings taste good and are always large. Great service. Cash Only so make sure to bring $$$ with you.
I have been driving past this place for over twenty years. Was surprised at what I have been missing. Tried their fried chicken with the mild sauce on the dinner. Tasted great reminding me how old-school dinners were like years ago, At first I was a little skeptical with the size of the wings, I feel that the smaller wings are tastier. It turned out that the chicken was a much higher quality than what is found in fast food chains. The larger wings turned out to be very good. Gina's is one of the best on the south side. Wish there was more places like this around. Highly Recommend!
